David Knopfler is well known as the founding member of the Dire Straits. Together with his brother Mark, they took their very own place in music history. David did 3 albums with the Dire Straits and released over 14 solo albums since 1983. Currently David is on acoustic tour with his long time friend Harry Bogdanovs in order to support the latest release "Made In Germany", a really nice acoust live CD that has been released via Paris Records last year. Yesterday David and Harry played in Rosenheim at the beautiful Ballhaus. It was a relaxed and laid back performance from two very special and outstanding musicians and David did lots of interacting with his fans, told lots of nice anecdotes from his musical career and played also some songs that he just has written some weeks before. My favorite songs of this evening were "Me And Bille Crowe" and the new song "Dawn Patrol" with a great rememberable chorus. David told me after the show that this song might also be on the next coming full band album. The fans enjoyed a wonderful 90 min concert.
